Kettlebell Workouts

Kettlebells are as old as vodka. This way of training is being reintroduced to us in the 21st century as a way to improve your coordination, flexibility, as well as strengthen your core and improve your overall physique. With kettlebells, there is less chance for injury due to its low impact movements and you can exercise in a much more efficient manner. You can expend a heck of a lot of calories in a 45 minute routine...This is a three dimensional workout that has many more benefits than what is explained here. So let’s swing some kettlebells.

TRX® Suspension Training System

This method happens to be one of my favorites because it is just plain fun. Not to mention some of the moves are while your feet are not even touching the ground! This is not for the faint of heart, it requires you to use your body weight as your resistance therefore your body is your machine. You can work on your balance while doing pushups, bicep curls, squats and lunges. This is a powerful workout. Imagine your entire body being recruited while you do a push up or lat row a la Cirque du Soleil. The exercises performed will challenge everyone regardless of your fitness level.

Golf Conditioning

Improve your golf game by conditioning your body. Learn how to develop those muscles essential to your golf swing such as your trunk, shoulders, and hips. With golf conditioning you can correct your posture, improve your balance and flexibility, and increase your strength by training these muscles to function efficiently. I use the TRX method mentioned above as well as incorporating physio and medicine balls. You will receive an assessment of your posture to figure out where your weakness are and correct them to give you better trunk rotation, flexibility of the hips, and opening of the shoulder girdle to achieve a powerful swing and awesome follow through.
